It separates dry granular materials that are the same size but have different weights or relative densities
How It Works
1. Stratification via Airflow: Multiple high-volume fans located at the bottom of the machine blow air upward through a porous, vibrating rectangular or trapezoidal deck. The windows on the side of the machine frame house the internal fan/blower systems.
2. Fluidized Bed: The constant air volume lifts the grain or seed, forming a fluidized bed. Light particles (such as empty shells, insect-damaged seeds, or chaff) lift higher and float down toward the lower inclination side of the deck.
3. Mechanical Separation: Heavy, high-quality seeds remain closer to the vibrating deck surface. The mechanical vibration forces these heavier pieces uphill to be discharged via a separate outlet channel.
Main Components Visible
• Multi-Fan Chamber Base: The 5-window section along the lower half holds adjustable blowers to fine-tune air distribution across the sorting deck.
• Vibrating Deck Assembly: The upper angled frame features a black flexible dust/air hood system that houses the mesh screening where sorting actually happens.
• Discharge Outlets: Located on the right edge, multiple separate spouts drop out distinct categories of graded goods (e.g., heavy/clean material, middlings/mixed, and light waste material).
